Veltarra · pre-alpha Engine in design Global

Visual engineering,
not editing.

Interfaces are not drawn. They are computed.

A platform that treats UI as a calculated system. Tokens, themes, components and production code, reactively connected, never out of sync. We are building the engine first and showing the work as it happens.

Three mechanics
you will not find anywhere else.

This is what the editor is being built around. Each one exists as a specification and a prototype, not as shipped software.

01 · Axis editing

Edit groups, not pixels.

Select a navigation, a sidebar or a pricing row and Veltarra recognises it as an axis. Change gap, height and alignment for every element at once. The system keeps the rhythm, you set the intent.

Auto-detect · manual grouping · floating controls
02 · Lock and iterate

Converge, do not configure.

Adjust one parameter and watch the system reshape itself. Lock what works with a tap of the gold key, then move to the next. Every locked decision narrows the space toward your answer.

Lock keys · constraint propagation · reactive preview
03 · AI architecture

A visible AI team.

Not a chatbot. A configurable team of specialised agents: Designer, Layout Architect, Copywriter, Accessibility, Brand Guardian. You see what each one does, adjust its autonomy, and add your own.

Per-agent autonomy · activity stream · local-only mode

A medium problem,
not a process problem.

For thirty years, designers drew interfaces.

Developers translated them into code.

Brand drifted. Production lagged. Systems fractured.

Veltarra changes the medium.

01 · Calculated

Every pixel is the output of a rule, a token, a constraint. There is no "place this button here". There is "the system places this button precisely because of these reasons".

02 · Reactive

Change one base value and the system recomputes everything downstream: hover states, derived colours, motion timing, dark surfaces, accessibility contrast.

03 · Bidirectional

Designer updates design, code updates. Developer updates code, design updates. The same source of truth, accessed from both ends.

A platform, not a plugin.

Veltarra is designed around real engineering: a Rust token graph compiled to WebAssembly, GPU canvas rendering, CRDT collaboration, bare metal where it counts. The numbers below are the engineering targets the engine is being built to hit, not measured results.

16ms

Recalc target

Full token-graph recalculation for 1024 active nodes, Rust compiled to WebAssembly.

Target

60fps

Canvas target

GPU-accelerated canvas, thousands of elements without dropped frames.

Target

OKLCH

Colour space

Perceptually uniform colour maths, derived state variants, contrast validated at source.

Export targets

React, Vue, Next, Nuxt, Flutter, SwiftUI, Compose, Blade, design tokens JSON.

Planned

The code you export is clean by construction.

Most code generators cannot tell you where their output came from, because it was recalled from a model trained on repositories under every licence that exists. Veltarra is architected so that this question has an answer.

Computed, not recalled

Composition, not memory.

Export is deterministic composition from Veltarra-owned primitives: tokens to components to frames to emitted code. The AI plans and structures. It does not free-write the code you ship.

Owned primitives

Every template has an origin.

The frame and component library is authored for Veltarra or sourced under permissive licences with tracked provenance. No copyleft lineage enters the export path.

Similarity gate

Checked before it reaches you.

Non-trivial emitted blocks pass a similarity check against a copyleft signature index, and each block records which template produced it. Automated, so you are protected by default.

One system.
Many characters.

The same component logic, the same constraints, six entirely different visual languages, switchable in one move. This is what a branded design system should have meant all along.

DNA · Fintech

Trust, density, precision

High contrast. Tight spacing. Sharp radii. Restrained motion.

DNA · SaaS

Professional, friendly

Medium contrast. Generous spacing. Soft radii. Smooth motion.

DNA · Luxury

Restraint, air, gravity

Low saturation. Massive whitespace. Square corners. Glacial motion.

DNA · Casino

Energy, glow, momentum

Maximum saturation. Bold radii. Neon. Every interaction earns attention.

DNA · Crypto

Technical, raw, on-chain

Dark by default. Monospace accents. Sharp edges. An engineering tool.

DNA · Minimal

Nothing extra

Monochrome. Square corners. No motion. Pure typography.

Where it actually stands.

Public roadmap, real status. Nothing here is marked as shipped, because nothing has shipped yet. When that changes, this page changes with it.
